What impact will you make?

The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team guides leading companies in transformations to a data-driven organization. We help our customers in various sectors to develop the data strategy, processes and business model, which are all preconditions for extracting value from data. In addition, we support in laying the necessary foundation to fully exploit new opportunities offered by data science, AI, DataOps and robotics, for example. We ensure a growing awareness of the importance of data management, including data governance, data quality and metadata management. In doing so, we help our clients see, understand and capitalize on emerging data trends. Our team mainly focuses on tackling data problems from a tactical and strategic perspective, and to a much lesser extent on hands-on data analytics and data science.

We do this by combining consulting and data management expertise to create lasting impact. Whether it’s drawing up a data strategy, devising new ways of working to manage data more efficiently or implementing data tools, we are looking for the best people who want to further strengthen our inclusive EDM team.

How do you do this?

In this role you will be part of project teams that advise and support customers in implementing data management in order to get more value from data.

Typical project activities are:

• support clients in setting up a Data Management Office and drawing up a data strategy, roadmap or data operating model;
• interviewing stakeholders and analyzing relevant documentation, data models and datasets to determine the data management maturity of clients;
• developing a business case for data and analytics to realize improvements with the necessary (senior) support;
• establish an end-to-end process to identify and resolve data quality issues;
• assisting the customer in the selection of technology suppliers and making recommendations for suitable data (management) tools in line with the customer’s strategy;
• collaborating with clients and colleagues from different teams (e.g. Analytics & Cognitive, Strategy and Business Design, Risk Analytics) to guide end-to-end data-driven transformations;
• take responsibility and initiative to independently deliver parts of client work and communicate insights and recommendations to the client;
• assist in the further development of our team by contributing to projects with social impact, propositions, personal development and recruitment;
• supporting project management and facilitating workshops and meetings with clients.

• strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and analysis.
